I ask, because I own a bunch of those kind of movies on DVD, and have been hoping to watch the Polar Express on DVD that's mine for over the past month. Plus other Christmas Classic films if it's not too late, will never be too late, and not be too early by September or October. Thank You

Agree, horror movies from the 70s and 80s were often very good. Black Christmas from 2006 is fair at best, rated just 4 of 10. An escaped maniac returns to his childhood home on Christmas Eve, which is now a sorority house, and begins to murder the sorority sisters one by one. Silent Night Deadly Night from 1984 is better, rated 6 of 10. After his parents are murdered, a young tormented teenager goes on a murderous rampage dressed as Santa. I would suggest that one first.
