My face is peeling?

So my face is peeling and I don't know what to do about it. I wash it 3 times a day yet it still peels. I don't wear any make up either. I know that moisturiser helps but I don't have any. I have bath and body works lotion but I don't know if that will clog my pores or not. My skin looks really grosse and flaky and i don't know what to do bout it. Any ideas?

For one, you are washing your face wayyyy too much! Cut that down to two times a day. By washing your face three times, you are actually stripping the natural oils your skin produces throughout. If you take away your oils, your skin will be dry and patchy like you stated. Once you stop washing your wash 3 times a day, your skin shouldn't be as dry as it has been. Now if the dryness persists, you simply have a dry skin type and need to invest in a good moisturizer. With a good moisturizer, it replenishes the moisture in your face and even stops excess oils from being produced throughout the day. I suggest a moisturizer for all skin types: Oily, Combination, or Dry. I also you the St. Ives Apricot Face Scrub and it works wonders, it gets rid of the dead skin cells and is inexpensive. I really hope this helps and good luck!

Exfoliate!!! Use an exfoliating product or a diy sugar scrub (essentially sugar and water) work on the areas where you're skin is peeling the most and move the product in circular motions to remove the flaky skin (remember to be gentle don't damage your skin). Additionally buy a moisturiser! It's a must have especially during winter months to keep your skin hydrated! Try using sunscreen for the meantime. I also think washing you're face 3 times is too regular. Washing you're face can dry it out faster making the skin flake. Try limiting it to twice a day and make sure you aren't using any harsh products that dry out your skin (check for alcohol in you're products - dries out skin!) Hope I helped :)

Maybe your washing your face it too much leaving it dehydrated which will make it peel also you could sleep with a moisturiser on your face overnight helps a lot.

I have the exact same problem! It's mainly on/around my nose and you're right, it is definitely NOT attractive.
Age may be the answer to why you have flaky skin, is it oily/greasy? Through the process of puberty, teens may experience having this problem because of the many changes our bodies have to go through. Don't worry, you're not the only one but moisturizer should help x

you are washing yoru face so much and not replacing the oils in your skin
exfoliate but dont use sugar and water, thats pointless
use sugar and olive oil, it wll exfoliate the flakey skin and moisturise your face at the same time
