Can I use my high school id to watch a hardcore rated r movie?

I actually turned 18 last month and I was wondering if Regal Cinema would let me go in to watch 50 Shades of Grey, my boyfriend actually has free tickets to that theater but I'm still unsure wether or not I can use my school id it says I'm a Senior but it doesn't have my birth date.

Most movie theaters only take a legal ID. This means a License or a state issued ID that you can also get at the DMV with no test necessary. If you have a learners permit technically that could work but most movie theaters will turn it down even though they arent supposed to.

No, because it's not a legitimate ID. Anyone can make a school ID and put a fake age, etc. That's why you need one issued by the government. Tomorrow's Friday the office will still be open, you should go get a state ID.
(If you're in the US)

There's no such thing as hardcore rated R movie, and you need to prove your date of birth. You have terrible taste, btw.

If it doesn't show your age, it won't work.

you definitely need something with your birthdate on it.. ESPECIALLY for something as explicit as that... why would you want to watch that again? i mean really... so messed up
