Opinions on the Diamondback DB9 second generation?

I am considering buying the Diamondback DB9 pistol, but I have heard mixed reviews on it. I heard that the second generation ones are better, but a lot of the reviews out there are from the first generation ones. Is there anyone who has a second generation Diamondback DB9 who can tell me their experiences with the gun? Specifically, I would like to know 1) how many rounds have you shot, 2) what kinds of ammunition have you used, and 3) how many and what kinds of issues have you had with it? Thank you.

Never shot one, never will.

There are too many cut corners on those. I'll stick to better quality guns.

EDIT: There's not even a slide stop on the gun. No hold open on the last shot. The guns are ONLY rated for standard pressure ammunition, not even +P, which gives me pause.

Frankly, I would not own one for any reason, not even the newer ones. There are so many other good-quality guns in the same price range that it's simply not even on my radar.

Why would you want to buy a gun that has mixed reviews? There are so many guns that have positive reviews it's just stupid to buy anything less. In the firearms world a bargain is not always what it's cracked up to be.

??....for the same price...did you look at the CT, CM, and CW9 Kahr?
