About the same amount of time that it takes to get worldwide agreement on anything else: ... in other words, statistically speaking, the sun has a good chance of becoming a red giant and swallowing the Earth before that happens.

Well,

The head populace and supreme leaders of countries like to minimize free thinking + individuality to keep their citizens as brainwashed as possible. This keeps humans ''under control'' and managed. It starts from very early ages, and even from birth that the population begins shaping and morphing human beings in how they SHOULD think, what they should do, what they should wear, what they should strive for in life.

As long as people keep complying with idiocy, not questioning anything, not expanding themselves, we will remain right where we are and let leaders run our lives and thoughts.

Humans are living very wrong - yet no one does a thing about it. They just live, not questioning, not trying to improve. The human species is very stupid, as its the only species that causes its own problems and complications in which they cannot solve.

Once technology advances enough to cure all illnesses both mental and physical and allow for biological transhuman immortality and suffering abolition. Then people will no longer have to rely on the false hope of a savior that will take them to a mythological place

A 1000 years at least. For many that lack the mental capacity to understand the nature of the universe, God and Heaven are always the easiest answer to all existential questions.

Kyle, as long as humans fear death, and as long as parents indoctrinate their children into the ancient and nonsensical cults, religion will remain a pox on humanity.
