Where can I find the points to determine a first printing/first edition of Patricia Cornwell's POST MORTEM?
The volume in question is from 1990. It has no edition number or printing history line marked.

Check under the printing date. There should be a row of numbers like this:
10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1
According to at least one website:
"A number sequence that has a "1" at the end such as "10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1" indicates a first printing. But, if the lowest number showing is 2, such as "10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2" then the book is a second printing "
