Really liberals are going to blame the fall of Saigon on republicans? That is hysterical. The liberals in congress defunded it. Right or wrong that is what happened. Democrats pulled the plug. They're usually proud of it.

You are a dirty wicked little SOB, I will remind you of the facts. Nixon forged a peace with the NV's. Which stated plain as day that US troops would immediately return. Along with the US Air Force. The instant the NV's decided to breach the Peace. Now, our Democrat Congress Ford was saddled with, refused to fund and authorize any further US involvement. Ford BEGGED the Congress to reconsider. The NV's realized the USA was frozen with indecision and weakness. So, they invaded. The once defeated NVA rebuilt. Saigon fell. The US Embassy evacuated. Congress went on like nothing was wrong. Ford cried.
That was not Ford's failure. That was Democrats backstabbing a peaceful people. Who TRUSTED the USA.
Just as the Israeli's, Libyans, Saudi's, Syrians, Yemen's, Iraqi's and Afghans have misplaced their trust in a Democrat ran USA.
