Suppose if an employee get Dhs.5000/- per month what is the formula for calculation of per day ?
In some calculations some people divide by 360 days some divide by 365 days i am confused why they use these two craitarias:
eg:
1) 5000 x 12 / 360
2) 5000 x 12/ 365

So if on a salary, they simply get 5000/month
The issue of finding the effective pay per day is how many work days are there? But a variable is how many paid or unpaid holidays, sick and vacation time whether paid or not.
Generally you figure 5/wk, and 52 weeks per year, so 260 work days per year.
260 is the generally accepted work days per year.
5000*12/260 = 230.77 per day.
