The Jews were not confused knowing who God was, and they did not teach a trinity, so why would God confuse us later?

I don't have solid knowledge about this, but what I was taught was it's because Jewish people could not believe Jesus was their Messiah that Torah talked about. Obviously the Jewish high priest Caiaphas was the one who lead Jesus be criminalized for 'Blasphemy', so it's easy to imagine that the other priests and Torah scholars taught ordinary Jewish people that Jesus was not their Messiah.

It was Jesus who told His disciples He was sent by His Father, also He was the One who mentioned that the Holy Spirit will be sent by the Father after He goes back to the Father God. So, as a natural conclusion, the Jewish people never were taught about Trinity.

So God is not confusing us or Jewish people. I think it is safe to say that the Knowledge that Christians have were hindered by then religious leaders..

There is no confusion. People have been fighting the fact that Jesus is the Great I AM since during Jesus' ministry (Jn 8:58). They just refuse to accept the fact that he was God (Jn 1:1,14), even though Isaiah prophesied the fact about 600 years prior (Isa 9:6; 7:14; Mt 1:23).

People often want to believe what they want to believe and try to make the Bible fit their belief. God is not the author of confusion (1Cor 14:33).

The first chapter of Genesis talks of God. The word used for God is 'Elohim' and it is plural. In verse 26 it says 'Let US make man in OUR image'. The Jews of today are NOT the Jews of old and they knew God is plural.

Jewish Rabbis before Christ taught about Father,Son and Holy Spirit.
Research into sensitive issues like this might fall into dead end ,because of human tendency to cover up their sins.
