Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Cody Simpson, 5SoS, 1D, etc.. I wonder only because, they became famous really quickly, and you see more male, teen singers popping up than females.
Plus, some of them aren't any more talented then the girls, is it just that teen girls are easily impressed by any boy who can sing?

-alright singing voice
-maybe the ability to play guitar
-be conventionally attractive
to become a successful female singer or band you need
-perfect voices
-a perfect personality

look at how many successful boybands and male artists we have compared to the amount of female bands/artists with the same or more talent than the boy groups. it's because we live in a misogynistic world
