I have the current standard model, 60inx32 inch, 2 part fiberglass set up. I want to know if I can easily cut the tub out and keep the tub/shower surround part and install the new jacuzzi tub and then sealing it in. Is that possible or would the whole thing have to be removed?

the walls would need to be removed
the jacuzzi tubs are 20 inches tall
to properly install the tub you will need to add a gfci outlet behind it to plug in the pump or a gfci breaker to that outlet, the tub flange also gets secured to the wall studs
you will also need to change the waste and overflow
