YES you can. i had checked with my doc who actually advised it for my back pain; BUT only so long as you can control the temp. i used my friends quite often last summer which the temp was only at about 80 degrees anyway, since it was so hot outside. it was like a big bathtub with jets!! amazing on a sore back. but yes, i also used one at our pool too; only for a few mins. they keep the temp low anyway since kids get in (even thought the sign says no kids under 18).

the reason being; the baby has no way of sweating and getting rid of heat. if youre in high temperatures (water or otherwise) long enough, you can literally "cook" the baby. or so i was told anyway. this includes saunas, hot tubs, etc. also, the high temps may make a pregnant woman more likely to pass out as well. ive passed out a few times from heat, and i certainly wouldnt want to do that in water!

NO!! Your internal tempreture will be too high and that can cause major damage to the baby and can cause break through bleeding, do NOT use a jacuzzi or hot tub or anything that submerges your abdomen in hot water

only for a few minutes, if the temp is turned down no higher than 100 degrees.

"It's not a good idea unless you can control the temperature and set it at no more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Soaking in hot water or sitting in a hot, steamy room can make you overheat, which raises your heart rate and reduces blood flow to your uterus, potentially putting your baby under stress or interfering with normal development. And because pregnant women have a hard time cooling down, you're more likely to pass out if you get overheated in a hot tub or sauna -- an especially dangerous proposition in either setting. "

"Hot tubs are usually too hot to be safe for pregnant women to use. We know that water over 105 degrees is damaging to developing cells. It won't damage yours, but the baby is sitting in fluid that's also going to get very warm. And extreme temperatures can damage very early embryos. So hot-tubbing in the first trimester could cause malformations in the fetus or cause you to lose the baby. "

I did, but only because it was a private jacuzzi (no chemicals and fresh water just for me) and the water temp was set at 98 degrees.

No...I did stay in a jacuzzi during labor- but the temp was low.

You should consult your physician first. Jacuzzi's aren't bad because your can adjust the temperature but talk to your doctor and get his recommendations on the temp. and long long you can use it.

confident. you're meant to maintain your physique temp below one hundred. in case you get in a warm tub/jacuzzi you could rapidly overheat as you could not sweat. that's suitable to stay out for the full being pregnant.

No unless you can keep the temps under boy temp 98 degrees. The excessive heat can be harmful to the unborn baby.

Edit- you know what go ahead and use one while your "pregnant' since your a guy its fine

If you're a guy, sure. If you're a gal, no. Raising body temp too high of fetus can cause brain damage.

    Good luck!

If you don't mind giving birth to a liquid baby than, yes.

Think how cool having liquid children would be though...
