Doesn't it say somewhere in the constitution that the 'senate shall be more powerful than the house in all matters except taxation';?

Or am I just tripping... I recall something along those lines but can't remember the wording, or whereI read it.

No.
The Legislative Branch includes the House and the Senate.
I don't believe either one has more power than the other!

No it doesn't. There are areas where one House of Congress has more authority in certain situations but nothing places one above the other in most matters.

Our system of government would work a lot better if it weren't for all those corrupt politicians in D.C.

No. The Constitution is not a hard read. Read it.

Well, asshole.
What did the constitution say
WHEN YOU READ IT?
