Need bias statistics in articles.?

Do you mean recently, or at any time? One example I can think of was the whole "DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN" mistake, where a newspaper wrongly predicted that Thomas Dewey would beat Harry Truman in the 1948 election, based on a phone survey. Only issue was, not too many people had phones at the time - those who did tended to be wealthier, and hence, as a whole, more likely to support the Republican candidate, so that was an example of selection bias....Show more
