need grade 9 math help with equations and slopes?

the equation for the amount of garbage in a landfill site is G=4000+300d where G stand for the amount of garbage measured in tons and D stands for the amount of days that go by

How would i find the slop and the y-intercept of this equation when its graphed?

also i had to do a table and i need the first differences (which i think is 300) but then i need the rate of change. Wouldn't the rate of change also be 300?

Slope intercept form is
y = mx + b
Where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

In the equation
G = 4000 + 300d
The variables have been changed and
G is y while d is x
Also the order of the terms on the right has been switched.

Rearranging the order of the slope intercept equation it becomes
y = b + mx
Changing the variables it becomes
G = 4000 - 300d

The slope, m, is 300 <-----
The y-intercept, b, is 4000 <-----
