I need some advice for my anxiety, please.?

I have been having symptoms of anxiety a little more than usual. I guess its due to going back to college, working, and serving in the military as a reservist. I had my physical test this past weekend and I was so worried about it that I couldn t sleep. It really affected me. Now, I was thinking about going to see a doc about it to get some anti-anxiety pills, BUT then I thought about it, and the military..what will they think? I would probably get kicked out? So...I am thinking that I can just deal with it on my own? What do you think?

You need to identify what type of anxiety you have, as they have different treatments.

You describe one mild symptom of having some worry about an upcoming high stakes even with an unknown outcome. That is perfectly within the range of healthy levels of anxiety.

If you had lost sleep for 4-5 months because you could not shake the worry that, for example, you only your car's engine was suddenly going to seize up and you can't afford to fix it, or your roof was going to develop a leak, then you might have a condition that needs medication or treatment.
