How did Christianity quickly become so widely practiced in South Korea?

Many East Asian countries practice Buddhism and Hinduism, but how come South Korea became so widely more Christianized than most other East Asian countries?

Well, they went from generations of, to put it mildly, unkind Japanese rule where their own culture (including religion and language) were ruthlessly suppressed to being liberated (in the south, anyway) by a nation that was very good towards rhem. One that set up a representative government (eventually, this took time to reform a people that had been, basically, a slave race), built infrastructure, promoted free enterprise and all that entails etc. This nation just happened to be overwhelmingly Christian. It was only natural the Korean people be attracted to the religion of their liberators.

HAVE YOU SEEN THE DAMAGING EFFECTS OF ATHEISM IN NORTH KOREA, THE ATHEISTIC SANCTUARY?? South Koreans have got smart and realised that God knows all and determines all? He also loves all! WHY LIVE IN STATE WITH NO LOVE?

A person can know with certainty Jesus exists and is God by practicing the Devotion to the Head of Jesus.
