The Copts do. Others came from Arabia or mixed with Ancient Egyptians. And then we should not forget that they also mixed with other conquerors like Romans, Greeks, Persians and possibly Assyrians.

Although Egyptian culture today is predominantly Arab, and the language is Arabic, genetics, as well as cultural identity, show that modern Egyptians are the descendants of Ancient Egyptians. Yes, there is Arab admixture, but there was always foreign admixture in Egyptians.

Yes DNA studies have shown that the current Egyptians of 2021 are way more genetically like the ancient Egyptians of 3000BC than their Arab invaders of the Middle Ages (c.800AD).

Not a lot.
Much like Poland Egypt has had waves and waves of conquerers over the centuries due to its geographical location. Each time amalgamating with the resident population.

Nearly everyone on Earth is descended from ancient Egyptians.

Yes. The Copts even use a form of the Ancient Egyptian language in their liturgy.

Most "Egyptians" are and have been descendants of the invading GREEKS. That being decades before, Cleopatra & Ptolemy. So far back the connection is rarely taught.
