Why do you think that it is Republicans who MUST 'do something' about mass shootings when the Democrats won't obey their sworn oath to uphold and defend the constitution?

It is not the government's JOB to protect us from one another.

That is every individual's full and total responsibility ONLY.

Government isn't supposed to do 'ANYTHING' except ensure that our rights AS WRITTEN are fully upheld at all times, everywhere.

Nearly every mass shooting was in a democrat place with no guns allowed.

I am a conservative who would suggest reversing Reagan era restrictions on mental health facilities so crazy people can actually get help instead of nothing being done about them. Republicans will not allow this because it seems to tarnish the name of Ronald Reagan and Democrats won’t allow it because they don’t believe in holding anyone accountable for anything. 

They are too busy giving thoughts and prayers for all the dead to thinking about solutions.

They want to kill their neighbors.

The victims of gun violence are collateral damage to their insensitivity/inflexibility to enact additional gun safety measures. They remain static. The dems think additional gun safety can save lives. Some reps are over reactive equating additional gun safety w/ repeal the 2nd amendment. I don't know anyone for repeal.

More guns in the hands of "good guys" is the stupidest idea ever. It would just increase gun deaths with constant shoot outs, crossfire, and handling accidents. 

They have, but the Democrats block it.  If more people carried guns, mass shootings would be rarer.  Notice they most always happen in gun-free zones.  If people with concealed-carry licenses were allowed to carry - or maybe even open carry - people would know they wouldn't get far if they tried a shooting spree.
