Can I freeze mixed fruit?

I made a fruit tree for a party, using cantaloupe balls, strawberries, and grapes. I took the tree apart and have a bag of fruit that we can't eat before it ruins. Can I freeze the mixed fruit in the bag? Will it be good later?

You can freeze it, but when it defrosts the texture will be poor. Consider using the frozen mixed fruit in smoothies, or making a compote (boiled with sugar - makes a great topping for pancakes or ice cream).
