How to engage in class discussions?

i have a whole group discussion tomorrow and my teacher is grading us on it.. I mean i dont have a problem speaking. Im in speech and debate and I can present fairly well. But when it comes to group discussions and Socratic seminars, I just freeze up. Help?

I have the same problem but I find that writing down your ideas and reading off them is a good start.
