I went to college for a month do I put it on my tax return?

I went to Sanford brown for a month the course was steady 15k am I supposed to put that on my tax files? I left after that month so I'm unsure if the loans that were taken out still stand

Of course they do. You borrowed money, that money was paid to the college on your behalf. You most certainly still owe the loans. Its possible that you would have gotten a small percentage of your tuition refunded, and that refund might have gone back toward repayment of the loan, but you still owe the difference.

The tuition might qualify you for a tax credit, so tell your tax preparer about it or make sure you enter the information in your tax software. Don't be surprised if there's little or no change in your refund, but its worth a shot.

It's not the loans, but the tuition. You can claim a tiny Lifetime Learning Credit with the tuition. This can only reduce your tax bill, so if you don't owe, you won't get anything.
