How can a guy break up with a girl without saying a word to her about leaving?

He didn't say anything to me. He just stopped talking to me , it's like I never exsisted to him. My feelings hurt but I'll be alright.

Without knowing more could be one of two things. He's using the silent treatment to hurt or manipulate you or he is so hurt himself he can no longer talk to you. I once did this to a girl also. In my perception, she hurt me so bad I could just no longer speak to her. It wasn't the silent treatment and I wasn't angry or trying to hurt her, it was just that talking to her on any level was just meaningless and painful so I stopped.
