Does it count as domestic violence if the female tries to cause harm?

I've heard it said that when women hit men, men should not hit women back because "men are stronger than women". So does that mean that if a woman is stronger than a man she shouldn't hit HIM?

I don't have all the details, but I'm guessing that former olympian Picabo Street is probably stronger, faster, and more agile than her 76-year old father.

What say ye?

If a woman hits a man it is domestic violence. If I'm weaker than my friend and we get in a fight because I hit them why should they have to sit their and take it? Even a weaker person can hurt someone. Feminism has pushed the ridiculous notion that women aren't at fault for domestic violence under any circumstance. That's not true and is an opinion. If a women hits man or another human being then she is the abuser. Domestic violence charges should be applied to the violent offender regaurdless of gender. Equality is not favoritism or superiority

Yes, Attacking An Other Regardless Of Gender Is Wrong. A Man Has A Right To Defend Himself As A Woman Does It's Domestic Violence If A Couple, (Dating, Engaged, Married With Child Or Not)

Sure it's domestic violence. Absolutely it means that when a woman is stronger she should not hit him.

That didn't help me. My ex was taller and stronger than I am. She outweighed me at her leanest. The only actual saving grace in her worst violence is that it happened during rages that gave her very little control. Once the hitting started I was able to block around nine out of ten of her blows. But since it took her well over an hour to wind down each time they were still very miserable experiences. Worse, the blows that I could block were all of the ones that would have made marks that showed so I ended up with bruises that don't show. The first outburst led to a lot of therapy. The second made it clear that nothing was ever going to work.

Men get trained from birth not to hit women, but women have never been trained not to hit men. So now currently we have seen a rise in domestic violence cases from both sides.

Male to female domestic violence 50%
Female to male domestic violence 50%
Female on Female domestic violence 70%+
Male on Male domestic violence 30%.

Can you see the trend here?

In law men are always considered the aggressors in domestic violence and all a woman has to do is cry and the bruised and bloodied man is taken to jail.

This is a huge problem that feminists ignore because the reality is they don't actually care about men.

Domestic violence is either sex doing harm. However I think people take it way out of line now at days with what is considered violence. If you're at a bar and a man insults a woman he's dating publicly and gets a slap to the face once I don't see it as "domestic violence" I'd see it as putting an asshole in his place. Sorry. It depends. If a married woman comes home drunk every night and physically attacks her husband on a daily basis then yes, I agree that's domestic violence.
