How to get rid of phlegm?

So, in Choir we are having solo auditions, and my anxiety gets the best of me every time. Last time, I got phlegm in my throat and couldn t sing at all and I looked like a terrible singer (I m not the best, but I m usually not that bad) !

I know I will probably have it tomorrow because anxiety will come and screw stuff up so is there any on-the-spot way to get rid of Phlegm? I need answers ASAP because auditions are TOMORROW/ February 27th!
I would seriously appreciate anything, at all! Thank you :) <3

Well, I'll give you as much advice as I can about how to prepare (and vocal health anyways), which may or may not help with phlegm, but will certainly help your voice anyways if you do.

1: Get lots of sleep tonight!

2: You should drink 8 glasses of water daily (minimum recommendation). My teacher says 4 glasses of water before you even sing. (The more "lubricated" your throat is, the easier it will be to sing).

3. Warm up once after you've had at least 4 glasses.

4. Warm up in small spurts afterwards, but gently. After you've warmed up that first time (and maybe do it twice if you feel it necessary) you want to preserve your voice!

5. Emotion/Mindset! Only worry about doing your best, not being judged or anything. (I know, that's HARD to not think about being judged, since it's an audition, but the more relaxed you are the better!).
