Credit card best?

American Express gold delta sky miles or chase mileage plus explorer United. Both have same benefits and annual fee

The next level of inquiry would be black out days vs open dates, ease of use, which airline you prefer (based on comfort, routes, non-stops to your favorite destinations,,,).

After the initial boost of rewards for signing up, airline "miles" (points) accumulate at the same 1 penny per dollar that most reward cards pay, so I just earn $ from my regular rewards card, add on the annual fee I saved, and go when and where I want, on whatever airline with no worry about seat limits or blackout dates.

Personally I would never get a card that charges me an annual fee. As most do not why waste my money?

Whichever airline you expect to fly.
