Chest issues?

Im a sixteen (very close to 17) year old boy who is built with a sturdy body, my bones are really wide and I have much more muscle than most sizes. Recently whenever I go running or any sort of cardio workout, my chest starts to hurt in a sort of needle pain kind of way. I'm not sure exactly where it is because it's an internal pain, but I've made sure that whenever it happens I stop running and slow to a walk to cool down then stop. I excersize close to normally, 2-4 times a week. I am a little out of shape but even when I was in the shape of my life it still kinda happened. Any ideas of what it is? (I know to go to the doctor but I'm going to other people for second opinions)

"Chest issues?"

If you are having chest issues, then you need to talk with you medical care provider about it. Having chest issues, could be something minor such as an ulcer or it could be a more serious issue. Such as a heart problem. Even seventeen year old's can have heart problems, as there is no such thing as to young. While rare, it has been known for seventeen year old's to even have a heart attack. It also could be something else that's fairly simple, but until you have been thoroughly checked out, there's no way to know what the problem is.
