Some guitar players excel at a certain style. Others excel at a different style. No one excels at all styles so, yes, there are better guitar players but not necessarily in the same genre. I have played alongside technically brilliant players who had all the musicality of a cow pat. We don't all agree what excellence is when it comes to things like guitar playing. If you have found a player that does it for you, I hope you enjoy listening to them.
