Terms and Agreements?

When signing up for things like Internet one must agree to their term of usage in a sort of contract. However in those contract there is always something like (any and/or all of which may be updated at any time and from time to time in DI*H’s sole discretion) or "DI*H may enforce or decline to enforce any or all of the terms of this Agreement in its sole discretion."

They all say they can change the agreement at any time without notice. I bet your employee handbook even says the same thing in there somewhere.

Is it a way of forcing you to give up your rights ability to protect yourself and allowing them to do as they please?

No matter what happens with their service, all they have to say is "Fu*k you, Pay me."

just bc one party, the isp, puts terms into an agreement tht the other party, the customer signs, doenst mean those terms are lawful and legally binding.

isp's like verizon & att are paying multi millions in refunds and fines on those issues.
