Stomach can't handle fish.?

So I am trying to improve my health and my body. I've read in multiple articles that fish is definitely something you want to add to your diet when you are trying to loose weight. My issue is that my stomach can't handle fish. It's not that I don't like it, because some fish I've tried has actually tasted pretty amazing. It's just I finish eating the fish and then less then an hour later my stomach is not happy at all. Is there anything I can substitute for fish? I know they say you want to add good protein, and of course fish is on that list...but once again my stomach is a no-go for fish. Please help!!

it may be the type of fish !! some are NOT supposed to be eaten...if you want to know the "good" from the "bad" go to www.seafood.edf.org
