He's cutting government, rolling back Obamacare, restoring the free market and returning power back to the people, making government serve the people, not RULE the people. That is Tea Party. That is what we have always been about.

Your observation is reasonably accurate. The Tea Party seeks Constitutional Government and Liberty for Responsible Citizens and the re-institution of the Bill of Rights. There are some extremes the Tea party were pursuing after being taken over by the Religious Rights but Trump , I hope, will not go That extreme.
Trump's selection of Mike Pence for VP was Brilliant.

Yeah, it is what you've always wanted. And it's totally deluded and destructive, as will become obvious in the years ahead. But you're right, Trump by naming Pence as his VP and allowing Pence to guide his cabinet picks has in fact abandoned a lot of his more "populist" promises in order to put corporate CEOs and free-market ideologues in charge of the federal government. As they put their programs in place, Americans will get a chance to see just how false the promise of pure "free market" capitalism really is. And what its hidden and not-so-hidden costs are.
