Have you ever donated eggs to a couple for infertilty? How does it work? What steps?

It's the same as IVF except they don't return the embryos to you.

It's the same process as IVF, only the embryo(s) are transferred to someone else. It's 10-12 days of follicle stimulating medications (plus either birth control or Lupron prior to starting stims to suppress your cycle). then when the follicles have grown sufficiently you have the egg harvesting procedure. I've had 3, personally. Except bruising from the daily shots plus bloating before and after the procedure. You'll also have to have a flexible schedule for appointments, since it involves a lot of clinic visits and often on short notice.

I have not, nor would I. I have ethical problems with intentionally creating a child who will likely never know his or her biological mother (or father, in the case of sperm donation).

I would consider being a surrogate to someone if the child was their biological child but the mother could not carry him or her for some reason, such as my best friend who had a kidney transplant and pregnancy is not recommended in her case.
