I had an ECG (echocardiogram) and now my side/ribs is kind of sore?
I was suffering from what I thought were to be anxiety issues and saw a cardiologist to put my mind at ease that this was not a heart issue.
Long story short- all testing came back fine (EKG, ECG, Treadmill Stress Test) and said it was more than likely Anxiety.
During the ECG the technician was pushing the wand pretty firmly on me to the point I had to bite my lip, and and almost felt as if I was going to pass out. I am a bigger guy and said he just had to push harder to get a good view.
Today my side is kind of sore if I twist, or move my arms up. Is this common to be sore from an ECG? They said I was fine! so I am hoping this is not a heart issue and just soreness from the wand. Has anyone experienced this? This is my first visit ever to a cardiologist.
