With so many fluid statements online about what people believe and so many of them coming from movies and video games,what about reality? That we have a date of transfer to the other side.

I buried my mom last November. She hasn't returned to me or to anyone else in any shape or form, nor will she. There is no other side (except in our imaginations and/or phobias). And that is why we should all strive to live as morally as possible and, yet, still pleasure ourselves as much as possible in this world at the same time. Might be a tricky balance but it's the one to try for. Now... if watching movies or reading books, the like, with tales of the afterlife entertains one, or, actually inspires one to do better in their life in the here and now, that's great.
