I dunno, I feel like I'm at a block in life right now. I mean, I'm fine. But yeah, I'm 18 years old, college student. Sitting here, and I'm like "where do I go from here?" Where DO I go? I'm taking gen-ed, undeclared, single, in decent shape, and just, chilling. I don't really have much going on with me, ya feel? So, my question to you is, what should I do....right now.....anywhere.....or in the future? Should I get a sandwich? Should I go for a run? Sell some cookies on the street corner for some money? Invest in the stock market? What the heck??

Be careful about how much time you spend in college and what you choose for a major. Do not get a student loan! When you choose a career, remember this: The current (at any given time) economy affects many people due to their career choice. For example, in the construction industry, people stop spending money during a recession as well as many other reasons which leads to layoffs. When fuel prices go up, you can t just raise your rates to match, expecting people to pay the new higher rate. They're already spending more on gas and now, you want more money too? However, necessity industries don't have to play by the same rules. Fuel price increase = trucking increase = higher prices for grocery delivery = you pay more for food. If you don t like it, your only option is to eat less or buy cheap food, which usually has more non-food products in it than actual food. Always read ingredients. If you don t know what an ingredient is ... internet. Healthcare industry, fuel/oil, anything that is not optional is a more reliable career. There are so many online colleges now, degrees are losing value and your chance of finding a job in your chosen field of education is on a rapid decline. Be very careful what you allow the government to "give" you. Before they give to someone, they must first take it from someone else. Anything they give, they can take back. It's very unlikely you realize the power you have. You have the power to choose how much power you acquire. Can you imagine looking for ... anything. Let s just say an uncommon part for your car. You call the parts store and they say "No, we don t sell that." In 1982 (when I was 18) my only option to continue my search was asking "Can you tell me who might have one?" might make a suggestion where I should look. If not, I open up the phone book and call the next on the list. You open your internet browser and in 30 seconds, you've found 6 places to get it at a price of $30 to $230 for the same product. You can learn more from Youtube than K - 12th grade. Knowledge is power & everything you don't know is power, lying there waiting for someone to pick it up and possibly use it against you. You are smart to have asked a very good question. Continue seeking the answer. Remember, survival is not guaranteed, so it pays to get advice from the survivors. They're commonly known as old people. P.S. Yes! Get a sandwich, but be sure you know what's in it. Good Luck, Steve White 320 million people united as "One American" (fb page) are invincible
You don't actually know there's a whole world around you, do you? Have you actually READ Hamlet? Crossed your county line? Should I get a sandwich? Seriously?
