How to prepare for marriage, Id say be with him for at least 5 years first. You guys havent even been together that long. My fiance and I have been together for 5 years and he just proposed. I dont even want to think about marriage for another 5 years when we are both established. And im 26. Trust me its alot more than just a big wedding and calling him your husband. And if you guys have been together on and off for just a year and a half, how the heck are you guys going to be able to spend the rest of your lives together. Your not even consistant. Dream about marriage, take all the tests you want, but please dont jump into it. If you guys have been together for about 3 or four years consistant and the fire is still buring, then consider getting engaged
