How to ripen fruit in a day?

I have slightly firm mangos to be as ripe as possible in a few hours. I have them in a bag with a few banans. Can I bruise the bananas excessively and heat the skin to catalyze ethylene release?

What about oxidation? Would a banana already exposed to air help the process?

It would only make the skin rott in a plastic bag, Ive tried the microwave, throwing them on the floor, kicking them, it doesnt work,

You don't! Ripening takes time and in part is a gasseous exchange. So odd as it might sound if you kept them in a pure ethylene environment they would still never ripen!

You cannot ripen it. It is true that cooking it a bit will take away some of the green flavor. This works well with avocados, too.

How are you using the mango?
You could grill or broil it. The caramelization that broiling or grilling will sweeten the fruit as well as soften it.
