Is it okay to dump old oil into your kitchen drain after changing oil if you rinse the sink out nice and proper?

No! You take used oil to a recycling center or to an oil change joint and dispose of it properly! Why you even doing your own oil changes? I tell my customers that there are so many oil change places and car dealerships offering specials on oil changes that it doesn't pay to do them yourself!

Dump it in a hole in your back yard.
Plant two Rose bushes, one over the oil and one elsewhere. Watch what happens to the two bushes.
People forget, or never knew, oil is an organic compound, resulting from the decomposition of ancient living organisms.

I see all your questions are troll questions. I recommend you drink the oil instead. We will all be happier.

You would be better off pouring it on the ground.
NO, I did not say dumping was acceptable, only that it won't do AS MUCH damage of pouring it in your plumbing.

Note: Where I live, anyplace the offers oil changes is legally required to accept used oil for proper disposal, and most places that sell oil also accept it.

Why would that be okay? You cannot put motor oil anywhere except for the places that accept it.
