Obama's use of "identity politics" to portray Blacks as victims of racist Republican policies he made race relations worse than they were before.

First off, is he a stereotype Black? Think about it. He has no "Black American" background because he did not grow up in the inner city. His father was a well off Black from Africa and his mother was a middle class White American. His growing up in the Far East and Hawaii has absolutely nothing to do with the issues of Black America. He grew up in the most racially diverse state in the USA where every race, including Whites, are a minority. He did not suffer Jim Crow discrimination. He was educated at Harvard, very unlike most Blacks. I do not see how he could influence the stereotype of Blacks because he was not one of them.....

He has had no effect on white bigots. He may have helped how some blacks view themselves.
The bigots had no problem making up lies to turn him into the "other", ignore his accomplishments, and to impugn his intelligence.
Blacks saw someone rise to the highest office based on his intelligence and charm, not entertainment value.
