I'm interested in being a 19D (Calvary Scout) in the Army, and just want to know job details. What are the ups and downs?

Constant Training. Crawling trough the Mud day in day out. Eating MRE's.
Why don't you find an ARMY MOS that will help you with LIFE and not your Ego??
Pick a MOS that will lead to a good high paying Civilian Job after your military service. You may have a Family to support.
MOS 19D will not help you find a Good Job.
