Why do religious people think that "Evolution" and "abiogenesis" is the same thing?

Howcome, everytime I see a religious person talking about how evolution is not real, they always try to make points about things that have nothing to do with evolution. Like, Evolution is not real because the universe could not just poof into existence! Did somebody forget to tell me that the Universe was a living organism?

Or they say life could not evolve from nothing.. Did i not get that memo either because last time i checked, we have never claimed that evolution is was created the first life.

lol, why do they try so hard to argue against things when they clearly have no idea what they are even arguing against.

and a bonus question, mosquitos... in london during the early 1900's during war bombings people would go down into the subway system for shelter and mosquitoes went down there with them, no all of them obviously, but some did, and at that tiem they were the same species as the ones that were above ground, yet here we are 100 years later, speciation has occured and the ones in the tunnels can no longer breed with the ones from above ground, if evolution is not real, how does speciation occur? or should i explain what speciation is as well?? you know 1 species, isolate some of them, give them time they evolve seperatly and eventually become 2 species.. how does that happen without evolutiom?

"Did somebody forget to tell me that the Universe was a living organism?"

Do you know that these living organisms didn't always exist? If that was the case we'd have seen these organisms evolve into something. To get to the juicy part, Since when did it make sense for living organisms to start forming into things at random? According to atheism there's no guide or intelligence behind the process of evolution. If there was then that would be a miracle, organisms would be the athiest god and it would have no begining. Along with the fact that you need faith to even take that claim seriously. We once had dinosaurs which must mean that these organisms evolve into more than one thing. Why did you shift your story from organisms to mosquitos? Everything you're saying, concerning evolution, is based on blind faith.

Why do religious people think that "Evolution" and "abiogenesis" is the same thing?

- Big words confuse them.

or should i explain what speciation is as well?

- Species is a big and confusing word for them. They say "kinds" which means anything that they want.

They don't know about evolution, they don't understand how and why it happens. They don't know the effect of the 'selection' part. They don't know how two separate populations of the same species can evolve into separate species, what could make the difference between the species.

They get told how well designed todays cells are (after 3 billion years of evolution) and they can not imagine something much simpler that produces copies of itself.

Basically, they are uneducated.

They also think evolution and the Big Bang are the same things... it's not really surprising. If you understood the science, you wouldn't be denying it. You'll never find a flat-earther who actually understands even high school level physics. The lack of understanding of science is what allows them to believe in ludicrous things.
