I usually have an answer within 7-10 days but it can be twice that if the appraiser is really busy (or really lazy).

There is no way to tell you because its all in the hands of the appraiser. I would say 1-2 weeks to be on the safe side. but if you are looking for a quick close, don't forget about the termite guy, title search guy, your home inspector (don't rely on the FHA appraisal) and the closing attorney.

Depends how busy the inspector is.

Normally an appraisal is completed in about a week. Mortgage lenders would not allow a long dragged out procedure to receive an appraiser. In the mortgage lending business, time is of the essence. It would not matter if an appraisal office is busy or not. Appraisals are done in the order they are received. If an appraisal is requested by a mortgage lender on Monday, this appraisal would be completed prior to an appraisal requested on Tuesday.
I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

Depending on how busy a local market is, an appraisal can take place within days of the lender's request, or it can take up to 2 or 3 weeks. Again, depending on how busy a local market is, appraisers can get their reports out in a day or a week.
