Do I need to pay full cash visiting a clinic/doctor?

I’m struggling to go to the doctor right now but I don’t have any health insurance, I know this sounds like a dumb question to ask but do I need to pay full cash straight up for example it cost anywhere from $200-1,000 For a full visit and test or can I pay half of it? And rest later

That would be up to the clinic if they would accept a payment plan.

Call around and get the costs in advance.

It's up to the doctors office, but most don't let you make payments.

Ask the clinic.

$1000? No way. And as for the bill we are not psychic. Ask the doctors office.

I went to see a doctor recently without health insurance. They had to mail the bill since they had no idea how much the charge would be - I’d suggest calling and see if you can ask someone before you go in. There might be a down payment they’ll make you pay or something.
