I own a bike shop and I want to knock down a wall and serve beer to people while they shop for bike helmets. Will this be successful?

In many countries you need a licence to sell alcohol, and if there are any beer shops or bars nearby it is unlikely that you will get a licence. Check with your local council about getting that licence.

Planning regulations where you are might prevent you from knocking down a wall, again check with the council.

Building regulations might prevent you from knocking down a wall if it supports any other building, again, check with the council.

Sounds good, you'll need to apply for a license though, and not be responsible for bikers driving drunk!

Not with the bike helmet part. If you are really serious, these guys are wildly successful, near our house. They also have good bar food, which helps - kitchen is in the back:

Gonna knock down the wall with your head? Or try it with one of those helmets?

AWESOME. I got kicked out of a bike shop a while back, because I was "intoxicated and offensive". I mean hell they were across the road from the bar that I was at all day. Sure I lknocked some bikes and crap over but it wasn't my fault. I place where your can shop for bike stuff AND drink would be perfect. I will be your first customer.
