common decent shows 20-amino acids.

"The code used to translate nucleotide sequences into amino acid sequences is essentially the same in all organisms. Moreover, proteins in all organisms are invariably composed of the same set of 20 amino acids. This unity of composition and function is a powerful argument in favor of the common descent of the most diverse organisms."

No. Proteins are the building blocks of life and proteins are made of chains of amino acids. All life on earth use DNA to encode their genes and genes make proteins. Some viruses use RNA as the coding material but viruses are not considered living organisms, just bits and pieces that came out of living organisms and are now parasites. The need a host cell to reproduce themselves.

Without the presence, it is not considered "Life".
