my power in my apartment have been out for more than 8 hours with no notice! Do I have a right to argue with them when the office opens?

This may be a silly question but my boyfriend thinks I get mad for the wrong reasons or argue too fast but in our apartment the light have been out since 5pm and it’s 5am now. My house is literally freezing and I can’t even take a shower! I also work from home. The office was closed so I couldn’t contact them. The hallway lights outside of our apartment works so it is just our apartment our neighborhood said their lights have been off for 2 days now and they still haven’t fixed it. NOT ME. I’m literally ready to go in tomorrow morning and give them a piece of my mind do I have a right to be upset? P.S I can’t be as patient as my neighbor.

If there is power in the hallway then there is power to your building. Find the breaker box and flip your circuit breaker back on. It is usually in the basement or garage.

Contact the utility company. The landlord has NOTHING to do with it & listen to your bf more often

Check your Rental Agreement/Lease - you should paying for your own Electricity and if you do - it seems you failed to pay your Power Bill.

Common sense says to call the power company. Posting here will not do anything.

Do you think that the apartment management turned off the electricity just to mess with you? The outage likely has absolutely nothing to do with the management company. Call the utility company to find out why the electricity is off and when they expect to have it restored.
