Man City are European nobodies, even Steaua Bucharest has won more EC's than they ever will. Even as an AEK fan I can admit Olympiacos and Panathi are bigger historically than City.

Man City are now the 5th biggest club on the planet. Expectations are much higher now.
Nobody expects anything from Greek teams.
