Why do so many poor people or homeless people i meet think they are being followed?

When im outside and i meet someone and with the given information about them being poor they tend to eventually talk about how they are being followed around . They always say something about men in suites or someone hacking in to their phone and going through their files, etc. They look terrified and they make quick eye movements constantly looking around . Is this some kind of mental illness or what?

Yes. They're homeless because they're unmediated & mentally ill. That is honestly most homeless people.

most homeless people suffer from some sort of mental illness. They are the forgotten people in a society that doesn't care to help, unless there's something to gain from it.
