I’m in year 10 now and we have to do work experience this year. I’m wanting to do something fun and that I’ll enjoy, but unfortunately, something like working in a cafe won’t be even a good idea as I have very bad social anxiety and won’t be able to cope with having to talk to multiple different people. thankyou.

Work experience at your local area police station could also be a great opportunity to see life from a different perspective. Throughout the week you would be learning how the force functions, the different roles and the different and unique situations officers have to deal with on a daily basis.

You should like your work and it can be fun if you like it enough ( I love my job). Maybe volunteer or even put in applications at the local animal shelter, health club, a pet store like Pet Supplies Plus, nursing homes or a garden center.
