Because most normal people and every international agreement, Trump and Putin excepted, see ethnic cleansing as a bad thing.

Driving people from their land through violence and atrocities went out of style with the foundation of the UN.

Why, you ask?
Because to allow this in this case, legitimizes it in all future cases.

Why should I care, you ask?
Because a dictatorial peace "agreement" isn't an actual agreement and under your ethics, the losers of this "agreement" would be fully justified in later using violence and atrocities to drive Israelis off their lands. Under your "ethics" anyone could do this.

Why is this bad, you ask?
Because it returns us to the days of routine conflicts over borders, which means perpetual wars, violence and atrocities against civilians to drve those civilians off their lands.
